With people predicting actors to many people suggesting all kinds of names, the buzz around the film is always good. Same is the case with the remake of Ram Lakhan to be produced by Karan Johar. Recently,
we had heard that Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawanwere finalised for the film but now, the buck has reportedly stopped at Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan!
Yes, that’s the latest rumours doing the rounds in the industry. According to a glossy, Hrithik might now be seen reprising Anil Kapoor’s role of Lakhan while Abhishek will play the dutiful and righteous character of Ram, formerly played by Jackie Shroff.
Now that’s one casting which had scarred us before in the form of Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon and we have our reservations about the two of them in one film. But given the plot of the film, they might not get the opportunity to be so annoyingly animated in this one and thank god for that! Rohit Shetty will direct this film.
Ram Lakhan was a Subhash Ghai gem which stressed upon the bond of brothers and their bonding with their mother Rakhee. Anil Kapoor’s signature step became popular from the songMera naam Lakhan!
