MUMBAI—It is long overdue, we guess. After what we saw of him in “Tubelight” and “Tiger Zinda Hai,” the beefy but muscular Salman Khan, who will be 52 next month, does need to trim down. Happily, director Remo D’Souza wants him to have a lean look for his film, “Race 3,” produced by Tips Films.
Khan will don a lean avatar to deliver the stylized action franchise with a chiseled body. He will be seen shedding nearly 8 kilos to get the look and will be following a special diet and fitness regime to slip into his character.
Recently, Khan took to social media to treat his audience with the first-look from “Race 3.” The first look showcased a clean-shaven actor, sporting a suave look, complete with blazer and a gun. His look broke the internet with fans in anticipation of the film.
Scheduled to release Eid 2018, the third installment of the franchise, unconnected with the former two is co-produced by Salman Khan Films. Bobby Deol, Jacquleine Fernandez and Saqib Saleem are in the cast.
